Live Cuban Music for Your Event
Guajirón performs at intimate concerts, family celebrations, community parties, corporate events, salsa clubs, and large festivals. We adapt the repertoire, energy, and band format to suit the audience and setting while maintaining our distinctive Cuban sound and professional standards.
Concerts & Music Venues
We perform Cuban son, bolero, tropical jazz, and original music in our own arrangements. The repertoire includes Caribbean composers and golden-era Cuban classics inspired by the music of 1930s Cuba, with touches of soul and blues.
Salsa Clubs & Dance Events
Our dance sets are built for salsa dancers, with a well-paced repertoire and a strong rhythm section that keeps the floor moving.
Corporate Events & Celebrations
We provide live Cuban music for receptions, corporate gatherings, holiday parties, and private celebrations. We adjust the volume, pacing, and repertoire for guest arrival, dinner, mingling, and dancing.
Festivals & Community Events
Our ten-piece festival band features a full horn section and a high-energy, all-ages show for outdoor stages, cultural festivals, community events, and night markets.

Cuban classics, high energy
Based in San Francisco, Guajirón brings together musicians from across the Bay Area to play son, charanga, guaracha, bolero, and tropical jazz. Arrangements with energy, detail, and plenty of room to dance.
Michael leads the band and is also a dancer. You can feel that in every arrangement. We shape each performance for the room and the crowd: a salsa night, a concert, or a big celebration.
